Accounting Assistant to the Community Development Administration

Welcome to the administrative department at the Community Development Administration. On our department, we work to provide high-quality support to other divisions within our administration in matters concerning economy, administration, investigations, and business development. We hold together many of the administration's processes where we collaborate and support our colleagues in other divisions to jointly operate and develop the business. The Community Development Administration is located in Mörby Centrum, 14 minutes from the City Terminal (T-centralen). We ensure every day that daily life runs smoothly for everyone living and working in Danderyd. From long-term community development, tap water, safe winter roads, and sustainable waste management to facility management and development. We also take care of Danderyd's public living rooms with playgrounds, nature areas, quays, flower meadows, bike paths, lighting, and much more.

Job Description

As an Accounting Assistant, you will be an important support in the daily work with the administration's ongoing reporting, invoice management, and economic administration. You will work closely with the administration's accountants and together form a link to the municipality's central economic unit.

Your tasks include allocation, reconciliation, reversing entries, and other registration in various economic systems. You will participate in the development of economic routines and internal training initiatives, as well as handle the administration of public documents and archiving when needed. The role also includes controls of customer and supplier ledgers and assisting in internal control and audit work. As part of the administrative department, you will also handle the administration's ordering of office supplies and other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

  • Relevant post-secondary education in accounting or equivalent work experience that we assess as equivalent.
  • Current experience with allocation and booking orders.
  • Current experience with accounting.
  • Experience in a role with other administrative tasks.
  • Experience working in the public sector.
  • Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package, especially Excel.
  • Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.

Merits if you have:

  • Experience in a similar role within community development or technical administration.
  • Experience with the economic system Agresso.

Work tests may be conducted during the interview. Selection takes place on an ongoing basis.

Salary form: Monthly salary.
Employment form: Permanent employment.
